This policy explains what information Your Property Geek collects on yourpropertygeek.com, how it’s used, and the choices you have. The short version: I collect only what I need to answer your questions, serve you as a client, and send you the information you requested and/or the newsletter you signed up for.
I will never sell your personal information
I don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason. I haven’t in the past, and I won’t in the future. If that ever changed, this policy would have to change first, and you’d be given the chance to opt out before anything happened. Google and Meta collect some browsing data through cookies on this site to provide analytics and ad measurement, as explained in the Cookies and Tracking section. You can opt out anytime using the links there.
Who I am
Your Property Geek is the brand of Kiel Lindsey, REALTOR®, a licensed Texas real estate sales agent with eXp Realty. When this policy says “I,” “me,” or “Your Property Geek,” it means Kiel Lindsey.

What I collect
Information you give me:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), what you need help with, and your message.
- GEEK newsletter signup: your email address and, if you choose, your first name.
- Emails, calls, and texts: anything you share when you reach out to me directly.
- Clients: if we work together, the details needed to complete your transaction, such as property information, contract terms, and contact information for lenders and title companies.
Information collected automatically:
- Technical data: my hosting and security providers log basic data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This keeps the site secure and working, and through analytics and advertising cookies, how you interact with the site.
- Spam protection: my contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you’re a real person. It checks basic browser and device signals and doesn’t track you across other websites.
You can browse this website without giving me any personal information.
How I use your information
I use your information only for the reason you gave it to me, plus the business purposes listed below:
- To respond to you: answering your questions, requests, and messages.
- To provide real estate services: helping you buy, sell, or plan your next move, including pricing, marketing, showings, negotiations, and closing.
- To send the GEEK newsletter: market updates and tips, only if you subscribed.
- To follow up: checking in about your real estate goals, if you’ve contacted me or we’ve worked together.
- To improve this website: understanding which pages and content are useful.
- To keep things secure: preventing spam, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To meet legal and licensing requirements: keeping records required by Texas real estate law, and responding to lawful requests from courts or government agencies.
I won’t use your information for purposes that are unrelated to or incompatible with these without telling you first.
Who I share your information with
I share your information only when it’s needed to serve you or run my business, and only with parties who are required to protect it.
Service providers. These companies help me run this website and my business. They may use your information only to provide their services to me:
- Hostinger: hosts this website
- Cloudflare: runs the domain and security, including spam protection
- Brevo: sends emails from this website, such as contact form notifications
- Kit: sends the GEEK newsletter and manages subscriptions
- Google Workspace: runs my business email
- My customer relationship management (CRM) system: stores contact and conversation history so I can follow up with you
- Trustindex: displays my Google reviews on this site
- Google Analytics: measures website traffic and how visitors use the site
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measures ad performance and shows my ads to past website visitors
My brokerage. If we work together on a real estate transaction, your information becomes part of the transaction records kept by my brokerage, eXp Realty, as Texas real estate law requires.
Transaction partners, only when you’re my client. To complete your purchase or sale, I may share the necessary details with parties to your transaction, such as the other agent, your lender, the title company, and inspectors.
Other professionals, only with your permission. If you ask me to connect you with a lender, contractor, or other professional, I’ll share only what they need to help you.
Legal requirements. I may disclose information if required by law, a court order, or a government request, or to protect against fraud or illegal activity.
Your mobile number and text consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Calls, texts, and communication consent (TCPA)
When you give me your phone number and check the consent box on my contact form, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Kiel Lindsey | Your Property Geek about real estate services, properties you may want to buy, sell, or rent, and related information. These messages may come from (469) 586-6110 or from other numbers I use for my business, including through my CRM, and may be sent using automated technology.
- Your consent is not a condition of any purchase or of working with me.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out anytime by emailing kiel@yourpropertygeek.com or calling (469) 586-6110.
- By giving your number, you confirm it’s your own phone number. If your number changes, please let me know so I don’t contact the wrong person.
Email communication
If you subscribe to the GEEK newsletter, you’ll receive about one email a week. Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing takes effect right away.
Visitors outside the United States (GDPR)
This website is meant for people interested in real estate in North Texas and is run from the United States. If you’re visiting from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another region with data protection laws, your information will be processed in the United States.
I process your information on these grounds: your consent (such as subscribing to the newsletter), to respond to requests you make, and for my legitimate business interests (such as website security). If you’re covered by GDPR or UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information I hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Ask me to delete your information
- Object to or restrict how I use it
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority

Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. This site uses:
- Essential cookies: needed to run and protect the site, such as security and spam-protection cookies from Cloudflare.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): show me how visitors find and use this site, such as which pages are popular and how long people stay. This data is reported to me in summary form, and I don’t use it to identify you personally.
- Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel): help me measure how well my Facebook and Instagram ads work, and show my ads to people who’ve visited this site. Meta may connect this activity to your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta’s own privacy policy.
Your choices:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, like the contact form, may not work properly if you do.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Manage Google ad personalization at My Ad Center.
- Manage how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.

Embedded content and links
Some pages include content from other websites, such as YouTube videos or Google reviews. That content works the same as if you visited those sites directly, and they may collect data about you under their own privacy policies.
This site also links to other websites, including my home search at search.yourpropertygeek.com, which is run by a separate platform with its own privacy policy. I’m not responsible for how other websites handle your information, so review their policies before sharing anything.
How long I keep your information
- Contact requests: as long as needed to help you and maintain our working relationship
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Transaction records: for the period Texas real estate law requires
Your choices and rights
No matter where you live, you can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email
- Stop texts by replying STOP
- Ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing kiel@yourpropertygeek.com
I’ll respond within 30 days. Some information may need to be kept for legal or licensing reasons, and I’ll tell you if that applies. I will never treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
Security
I use reputable service providers, secure connections (HTTPS), and spam protection to safeguard your information. No website can guarantee 100% security, so please don’t send sensitive details like Social Security or bank account numbers through the contact form.
Children
This website isn’t intended for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy as my website and tools change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
