North Texas Irish Festival at Fair Park

The Color Run Dallas

The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington

Art lovers and book nerds, this one's for you — and it's completely free! The Dallas Art Book Fair returns to Dallas Contemporary for its highly anticipated two-day run, bringing together regional, national, and international artists, publishers, galleries, and bookstores for an immersive celebration of print culture. Voted "Best Market" by Dallas Observer readers, it's a wonderful reminder of the rich arts scene thriving right here in DFW.

The number one food festival in Texas is back — and it's bigger than ever! The Dallas Soul Food Festival brings together 30+ vendors from Dallas, Houston, Kansas, Arkansas, and beyond, serving up everything from oxtails and candied yams to fried chicken, BBQ, turkey legs, and even vegan and keto options. Beyond the incredible food, you'll find small businesses offering clothing, jewelry, accessories, and more. It's a full-on community celebration that showcases the diverse, soulful spirit of Dallas at its absolute best.

Purple Ark Music & Arts Festival

📍 Myers Park & Events Center, McKinney

Close out March with a bang at the Purple Ark Music & Arts Festival in beautiful McKinney! This two-day celebration brings together CMA, Texas CMA, and Billboard Top 10 artists for major live performances, alongside local visual artists, crafters, a farmers market, and a gourmet food and beverage garden featuring craft beers and wines. Come experience the charm and creativity of one of DFW's most beloved communities.

Dallas Blooms at the Dallas Arboretum

The Southwest's premier spring floral festival is in full bloom and absolutely stunning. Dallas Blooms 2026 features hundreds of thousands of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and vibrant azaleas arranged in breathtaking displays across the Arboretum's gorgeous grounds. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, take it all in, and snap a few hundred photos. A true DFW springtime tradition you won't want to miss.

Tulipalooza

📍 Getzendaner Memorial Park, Waxahachie

Just a short drive south of Dallas, Waxahachie is hosting one of the most charming spring events in all of North Texas. Tulipalooza features hundreds of thousands of tulips imported from Holland — including a you-pick field where you can bring the beauty home with you. Even better, your ticket supports 11 North Texas charities, with 50% of proceeds going to the cause of your choice. It's wholesome, gorgeous, and a great excuse to explore one of DFW's most picturesque small towns.
