Spring Fling Eggstravaganza

Scarborough Renaissance Festival

📍 Waxahachie

If you've never been to Scarborough Renaissance Festival, this is your year — and if you're a regular, you already know why it's one of North Texas's most beloved traditions. Set across 35 acres of a recreated 16th-century English village, Scarborough brings history to life with full combat jousting, birds of prey exhibitions, 20+ stages of live entertainment, and 200+ artisan shoppes. There's a Mermaid Lagoon, Human Chess Matches, themed weekends, and so much more — all running every weekend through late May. Every April, Ennis becomes one of the most beautiful places in all of Texas — and if you've never made the drive, this is the year to change that. Over two days, the festival celebrates Japanese culture through authentic taiko drumming, traditional tea ceremonies, martial arts performances, and beautiful cultural demonstrations.
